We are, with bittersweet feelings, closing our shop this fall in order to create a healthier work/life balance for our family.
The week after we signed our lease and officially incorporated our business two years ago we discovered that we were expecting a child, and she's changed everything, really. We will miss many aspects of running our shop but feel excited about the space this will create in our lives as a family.
Please come check out our sale and say goodbye to Periscope! We will be shutting our doors October 31st.

Børge Mogensen designed this solid wood dining bench in 1956. With its robust simplicity the bench is an ideal example of Mogensen’s lifelong drive for a purified shape.
Soaped oak with light tan, vegetable tanned, anilin leather.
Other wood and leather or fabric options available for order. Some examples are shown here.
In Haiku a protectively encompassing outer shell is combined with a softer interior, providing an intimate enclosure. Haiku is an enveloping sofa that invites reflection and refuge. The contrast between the enveloping outer shell and the soft, intimate inner is highlighted by a contrasting combination of textiles. With delicate legs, Haiku seems to almost hover above the ground.
Preserving the signature rounded protective outer shell design of Haiku, the Haiku Low was adapted for home use and available in both 2 and 3 seater versions. Please inquire for upholstery options, which are virtually endless. Some examples are below.
